I and my first post is a “hey Oppo, what’s this?”
came out the bottom of the front of the engine bay after slamming the hood. Vehicle is a 2003 Tacoma 4x4 with the 3.4 V6 and automatic.

That’s the bracket that holds the airbag sensor. It’s obviously got god of the sensor, and now has shed the bracket. Next it’ll be the actual air bag, and you can then take the steering wheel off and hang it out the window while cruising.

That seems like a tension piece, as in “you ain’t got to pay no atension” to it.

It’s probably road debris that bounced up into your engine bay. Looks like a piece of plastic that is usually attached to the rocker panel of cars in which helps it clip to the body

Looks like a delete plug or access plug for something. It might fit into the lower front bumper cover
